“ I visited this restaurant with a friend after a long day out. There was music playing and the place was calm and relaxing. The food was delicious; we both had the linguini with prawns and pesto. We also order a side of garlic bread and a glass of rosè. It was a good way to finish the day, fill up, and talk about the plans for the next day. ”
“ For our last morning in Scotland we popped into Alba’s just as they were opening for the day. The staff was super friendly and the Bistro is very nice. My wife ordered the Breakfast Roll and it was the best one I’ve seen this trip. The Scottish Breakfast was fantastic. Idk if I’ll ever be a fan of Haggis, but if anyone could change my mind, it would be Alba. The bacon was perfect and cooked more to our American liking. If you are visiting or living in the Grassmarket area, Alba’s has to be at the top of your list. ”
“ To start off I've only eaten desserts from this place. Based on my experience with this restaurant, the chocolate cake stands out as an exceptional dessert, surpassing any I have previously encountered. I highly recommend it. ”
“ I had a very good lamb shank for lunch with some mashed potatoes and yorkshire pudding. Meat was very tender and delicious. Also had a fruit smoothie, which was nice. Overall, I would recommend it ”
“ Absolutely loved our visit to Alba Bistro, Edinburgh. The food was amazing, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. Drinks, I had a mojito which was absolutely delicious, and my partner had a pint of Guinness that was genuinely better than some Irish bars we’ve been to. The service was spot on throughout: attentive without being intrusive, and the staff were friendly, relaxed, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. A brilliant atmosphere. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be returning. ”
